Marcelle was known for her versatility as an actor, able to play dramatic and comedic roles with ease. She was also a dedicated philanthropist and worked tirelessly for numerous charities throughout her life. Marcelle Monthil passed away on November 27, 2014, in Paris at the age of 122, making her one of the oldest people ever to have lived.
