Yvonne Printemps (July 25, 1894 Ermont-January 18, 1977 Neuilly-sur-Seine) otherwise known as Yvonne Wigniolle, Printemps, Yvonne Wignolle or Yvonne Wigniole was a French singer and actor.
She started her career as a singer at the age of 14 and went on to become one of the most popular performers of her time. She appeared in several musical productions including "Les Trois Valses" and "L'Enfant Prodigue", and also had a successful career in film. Printemps was known for her charm, elegance, and exceptional voice. She was married to the actor, Pierre Fresnay, for more than 30 years and the couple worked together on several occasions. Printemps was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1960 for her contribution to French culture.
