He appeared in several notable German films throughout the 1950s and 1960s, including "The Devil's General" and "Paths in Twilight." In the 1970s, he moved to the United States and continued to act in film and television. He appeared in popular television shows such as "The Adams Chronicles" and "Hogan's Heroes," as well as films such as "Airplane II: The Sequel" and "Lassiter."
