Alekos Alexandrakis

Alekos Alexandrakis (November 27, 1928 Athens-November 8, 2005 Athens) otherwise known as Alecos Alexandrakis was a Greek actor and film director. His children are called Vasias Alexandrakis and Johanna Alexandrakis.

Alexandrakis began his acting career in the 1950s and appeared in over 100 films throughout his lifetime. He was known for his work in Greek cinema and was widely regarded as one of the top actors of his generation. In addition to his work on screen, Alexandrakis was also a successful theater actor and director. He directed and acted in many popular stage productions throughout Greece.

Throughout his career, Alexandrakis won numerous awards for his contributions to Greek cinema, including the Best Actor award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival for his performance in the film "Stella" in 1956. In addition to his acting and directing work, Alexandrakis was also a writer and published several books throughout his lifetime.

Alexandrakis was married three times and had three children. He passed away in 2005 at the age of 76 in Athens, Greece, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most beloved and respected actors in Greek cinema history.
