Christina Kalogerikou

Christina Kalogerikou (November 27, 1885 Greece-November 3, 1968 Greece) otherwise known as Hristina Kalogerikou was a Greek actor.

She began her career in theater in 1907, performing in various productions across Greece. She eventually transitioned to film and became a well-known actress within Greek cinema during the 1930s and 1940s. Kalogerikou starred in numerous films, notably playing dramatic roles which showcased her range and versatility as an actor. Her notable films include "Kira Georgoula" (1938), "Theogonia" (1943), and "Katina Paxinou" (1963). Kalogerikou was recognized for her contributions to Greek cinema by receiving the Medal of the City of Athens in 1958. She continued her acting career until her death in 1968 at the age of 82.
