Christian López (March 30, 1984 Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango-November 6, 2013 Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango) a.k.a. Christian Alberto Lopez Bobadilla or Christian Lopez was a Guatemalan weightlifter.
Lopez began his career as a weightlifter in his teenage years and rapidly grew to become one of the best lifters in Guatemala. He won multiple national championships and represented his country in various international competitions including the Central American and Caribbean Games and the Pan American Games. In the 2011 Pan American Games held in Guadalajara, Mexico, he won a silver medal in the 77 kg category.
Apart from his successful career in weightlifting, Lopez was known for his dedication to his community. He worked as a physical education teacher in Coatepeque and organized various sports events and programs for young people in the area. His untimely death in 2013 was deeply mourned by his family, friends, and the sports community in Guatemala. In memory of his contributions, the annual Christian Lopez Weightlifting Championship is held in Coatepeque since 2014.
