Johnny Poe (February 26, 1874 Baltimore-September 25, 1915 Loos, Nord) was a Honduran personality.

Johnny Poe was actually an American football player and coach. He played college football at Princeton University and was a consensus All-American in 1895. Poe later went on to coach football at a number of universities including the University of Virginia and Louisiana State University. He was known for popularizing the forward pass and introducing other innovative strategies to the game. Despite his short life, Poe's contributions to the sport of football have had a lasting impact on the way the game is played today.

In addition to his successful football career, Johnny Poe was also a skilled boxer and rower during his time at Princeton. After his coaching career, he dabbled in journalism and became the editor of the The Sporting Life magazine. Poe also served in the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War and was later appointed as the consul of Honduras in London.
