Kwan Shan

Kwan Shan (April 20, 1933 Shenyang-October 1, 2012 Hong Kong) also known as San Kuan, Kuan Shan, Shan Guan or Shan Kwan was a Hongkongese actor. He had one child, Rosamund Kwan.

Kwan Shan began his acting career in the 1950s in Hong Kong's Shaw Brothers Studio. He appeared in more than 80 films throughout his career, covering a wide range of genres including action, drama, romance, and comedy. Some of his notable works include "The Magnificent Concubine" (1962), "The Sword and the Lute" (1967), and "The Fate of Lee Khan" (1973).

Aside from acting, Kwan Shan was also a talented director and producer. He directed a handful of films and produced more than 20 films throughout his career. In the 1980s, he founded a production company called Orient City Films and produced some of Hong Kong's most popular films such as "The Inspector Wears Skirts" (1988) and "The Swordsman" (1990).

Kwan Shan retired from acting in the 1990s but continued to produce films until his death in 2012. He was known for his charisma and versatility as an actor, and his contributions to Hong Kong cinema have left a lasting impact on the industry.
