Snitz Edwards (January 1, 1868 Budapest-May 1, 1937 Los Angeles) also known as Edward Neumann was a Hungarian actor and theater performer. He had three children, Cricket Neumann, Evelyn Neumann and Marian Edwards.

Edwards made his way to the United States in the late 1800s and began his acting career on Broadway. He eventually transitioned to the film industry, and although he never became a leading man, he made a successful career playing character roles. Edwards appeared in over 100 films throughout his career, typically playing comedic or quirky characters. Some of his memorable roles include Blink in the silent film classic "The Cat and the Canary" (1927) and the organ-grinder in Charlie Chaplin's "Modern Times" (1936). He continued to work up until his death in 1937, appearing in several films that were released posthumously.
