Guru Dutt

His children are called Tarun Dutt, Arun Dutt and Nina Dutt.

Guru Dutt is widely regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers in Indian cinema. He directed and acted in some of the most critically acclaimed and popular Hindi films of the 1950s and 60s, including "Pyaasa", "Kaagaz Ke Phool", and "Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam". Pradeep Kumar started his career in the Hindi film industry in 1948 with his debut film Ziddi. He later went on to become one of the leading actors of the 1950s and 1960s, appearing in many hit Bollywood films such as Anarkali, Chhalia, Dil Deke Dekho, Leader and Mere Mehboob. He was also known for his collaborations with legendary director B.R. Chopra in films such as Waqt and Gumrah.

He directed only eight films in his career, including his most notable works such as Meghe Dhaka Tara (1960), Komal Gandhar (1961), and Subarnarekha (1965). Ghatak started his career in the film industry as a journalist and a critic, writing for publications such as Anandabazar Patrika and Kallol. He later moved on to writing screenplays for Bengali movies before making his directorial debut with Nagarik in 1952. K.S. Ashwath was born in Holenarasipura, a town in the Hassan district of the Indian state of Karnataka. He started his career as a stenographer and then moved to the film industry where he made a name for himself as an actor. He acted in over 370 movies in the Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages, spanning a career of more than four decades.
