Sathaar (May 25, 1952 Kerala-) a.k.a. Sathar or Sattar is an Indian actor. He has one child, Krish J. Sathaar.

Sathaar began his acting career in the late 1970s and went on to become a prominent actor in Malayalam cinema. He has acted in over 300 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. Sathaar is best known for his roles in films such as Avalude Ravukal (1978), Anuraagam (1983), and Oru CBI Diary Kurippu (1988). He has also worked as a producer and director. In addition to his film career, Sathaar has also acted in several television series. He was awarded the prestigious Nandi Award for Best Villain for his role in the Telugu film Pandurangadu (2008). Ravindra Sathe (January 7, 1952-) a.k.a. Sathe, Ravindra, Ravindra, Ravinder Sathe or Ravi Sathe is an Indian actor and set decorator.

He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra and later moved to Pune. Sathe started his career as an actor in Marathi theatre and made his film debut in 1977 with the Marathi film "Choricha Mamla". He has acted in several Marathi, Hindi and Gujarati films, and has also worked as a set decorator for several Bollywood films including "Lamhe", "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" and "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai". Sathe is also a trained classical singer and has sung for several Marathi films. He has been honoured with several awards for his contributions to Marathi theatre and cinema including the Maharashtra State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film "Lapandaav" and the Sanskriti Award for his contributions to Marathi theatre.

Sashi Kumar

Sashi Kumar (February 23, 1952 Kodungallur-) also known as Sashi or K. Sasikumar is an Indian film producer, film director, actor and journalist.

He is the founder and chairman of Asianet Communications Limited, which revolutionized the television industry in Kerala, India. Sashi Kumar was also a founding member of the Film Society movement in Kerala and helped establish the Chitralekha Film Society in the early 1980s. As a journalist, he worked with The Indian Express and The Times of India before launching his own media platform, the Asian College of Journalism, in Chennai, India. Sashi Kumar has received numerous awards for his contributions to the film and media industries, including the National Film Award for Best Film on Family Welfare for his film, "Vamsha Vriksha," in 1972.
