Manoj Kumar

Manoj Kumar (September 23, 1960 Theni Allinagaram-) is an Indian film director, film producer, screenwriter and actor.

He worked primarily in the Hindi film industry and is known for his patriotic movies. Manoj Kumar started his career in Bollywood as an actor in the early 1960s and quickly established himself as a versatile performer. He has acted in several iconic films including "Hariyali Aur Rasta", "Patthar Ke Sanam", and "Woh Kaun Thi?".

He later turned to direction and produced and directed the film "Upkaar" in 1967, which is considered one of his biggest hits. Manoj Kumar has won several awards for his contribution to the Indian film industry, including the prestigious Padma Shri in 1992 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2016.
