P K Rosy
P K Rosy (April 5, 2015 Thiruvananthapuram-April 5, 1975) also known as Rosy, Rosamma or P. K. Rosy was an Indian actor. He had two children, Padma Pillai and Nagappan Pillai.
P K Rosy was the first female actor of Malayalam cinema. She rose to fame after playing the lead role in the film "Vigathakumaran" (The Lost Child) in 1928. However, the film faced opposition from the orthodox community as Rosy, who was from a Dalit community, was shown marrying a Nair man in the film. The film was banned and all the prints were destroyed.
