Raj Khosla

Raj Khosla (May 31, 1925 Ludhiana-June 9, 1991 Mumbai) otherwise known as Rajveer Singh Khosla was an Indian film director, film producer, screenwriter, actor and writer. His children are called Milan Luthria and Sunita Khosla Bhalla.

He started his career as an assistant director to Guru Dutt and later ventured into directing his own films. Khosla is known for his memorable films such as C.I.D, Woh Kaun Thi?, Mera Saaya, Do Raaste and Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki. He won Filmfare award for best film director for two consecutive years for his films, Do Raaste and Mere Sanam. In his career spanning over three decades, he directed around 29 films and is considered as one of the most successful filmmakers of Bollywood. Raj Khosla's contribution to Indian cinema has been immense and his legacy lives on through his films.

Birendra Krishna Bhadra

Birendra Krishna Bhadra (August 4, 1905 Kolkata-November 3, 1991 Kolkata) was an Indian actor, playwright, theatre director and presenter.

He is best known for his iconic recitation of Mahishasura Mardini, an hour-long radio program broadcasted every year during the Hindu festival of Durga Puja. Bhadra's mesmerizing voice and vivid descriptions of the goddess Durga's triumph over the demon Mahishasura is still fondly remembered and listened to by millions of people worldwide. He was also a prolific writer and director who had written over 200 plays and directed numerous theatrical productions. Bhadra received several accolades for his contribution to the Indian theatre and radio, including the Padma Shri in 1972. He passed away at the age of 86, leaving behind a rich legacy for future generations to appreciate.

Marne Maitland

Marne Maitland (May 1, 1920 Kolkata-December 1, 1991 Tyne and Wear) also known as James Robinson Maitland, James Marne Maitland or Marne J. Maitland was an Indian actor and soldier.

Maitland was born in Kolkata, India to British parents. He spent his early years in India and was educated there before moving to Britain to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. During World War II, he served in the British Army, and was captured by the Japanese and held prisoner for three years.

After the war, Maitland resumed his acting career, appearing in numerous films and television shows. He was known for his distinctive voice and versatile acting abilities, and became a respected character actor in the British film and theater industries.

Some of Maitland's notable film credits include "The Thief of Baghdad" (1961), "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974), and "The Cat and the Canary" (1979). He also appeared in several popular TV shows, such as "The Avengers", "The Saint", and "Doctor Who".

Ramkumar Bohra began his career as an actor in the 1950s in Hindi and Gujarati films. He also worked as a screenwriter and directed a few films, including "Basant Bahar" in 1956. However, it was his work as a producer that brought him the most success. He founded the production company, Bohra Films, in 1971, and produced several successful films, including "Nishaan" and "Mome Ki Gudiya".

Bohra was known for his ability to spot and nurture young talent, and launched the careers of several Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha and Mithun Chakraborty.
