Iftekhar

Iftekhar (February 22, 1920 Sialkot-March 4, 1995 Nellore) also known as Ifftikar, Iftikar, Iftekar, Iftekhar Khan, Iftakhar, Iftakar, Ifthekhar, Iftikhar, Iftkhar or Iftekhairul Islam Chowdhury was an Indian actor.

Iftekhar began his career in the film industry as a background extra in the early 1940s. He got his first big role in the 1952 film 'Shabisthan' and went on to act in more than 400 films in his career spanning over four decades.

He was mostly known for his roles as police officers and other law enforcement officials, which earned him the title of 'the most ubiquitous cop in Bollywood', although he also played a variety of other roles. Some of his notable performances can be seen in films such as 'Waqt', 'Deewar', 'Don', and 'Sholay'.

N. N. Pillai

N. N. Pillai (November 27, 2014 Vaikom-November 27, 1995) also known as N.N.Pillai was an Indian playwright, actor, theatre director and orator. He had three children, Vijayaraghavan, Sulochana Pillai and Renuka Pillai.

Pillai was born in Vaikom, Kerala, India and completed his education in Chennai. He started his career as a teacher but later on, he pursued his passion for acting and theatre. In 1950, he founded the drama troupe "Nataka Kairali" which went on to become one of the most prominent theatre groups in Kerala.

Pillai was known for his humorous and satirical plays which addressed social issues related to caste, religion, and politics. Some of his famous plays include "Premacharitham", "Thuvanathumbikal", "Adhyapika", and "Muttathuvarkey". He also acted in several movies and won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 1972 for his performance in the film "Uttarayanam".
