She has two children, Jahnavi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
Sridevi began her acting career at the age of four, appearing in several Tamil and Telugu films. She got her big break in Bollywood with the film "Himmatwala" in 1983, which was a huge box office success. She went on to star in many successful Bollywood films in the 1980s and 1990s, including "ChaalBaaz," "Mr. India," "Chandni," and "Lamhe."
Sridevi was known for her versatile acting skills and has won many awards for her performances, including four Filmfare Awards for Best Actress. She was also awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award, in 2013.
