She was also a part of a few Tamil films like Star and Jodi. However, she was most recognized for her role in the Telugu television soap opera, Avanthi, which aired from 1998 to 2002. Along with her acting career, Prathyusha also worked as a model and participated in several beauty pageants, including the Miss Andhra Pradesh contest. She was only 20 years old at the time of her untimely death.
