Gohar

Gohar (April 5, 2015 Lahore-September 28, 1985 Mumbai) also known as Gohar Karnataki, Gohar Kayoum Mamajiwala, Ms. Kayoum Mamajiwala Gahar, Gohar Mamajiwala or Miss Gohar was an Indian actor, singer and film producer.

She started her acting career in 1929 with the film "Ekaadashi" and went on to appear in over 100 films in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Urdu languages. Gohar was known for her powerful performances in films like "Alam Ara" (1931), the first Indian talkie film, "Pukar" (1939), and "Anmol Ghadi" (1946). She was also a talented singer and often lent her voice to the songs in her films. In addition to acting, Gohar was a successful film producer, with her production company, Gohar Productions, producing films like "Zeenat" (1945) and "Fashionable Wife" (1959). She was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, in 1960 for her contribution to Indian cinema.

Rubina Shergill

Rubina Shergill (April 5, 1982 Chandigarh-January 12, 2012 Mumbai) also known as Rubina Shergiil was an Indian actor.

She appeared in several Bollywood films, television shows, and web series during her career in the entertainment industry. Rubina made her acting debut with the television series "Jeet" in 1996. She later appeared in popular television shows such as "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii", and "Sasural Simar Ka". Rubina also worked in Bollywood films such as "Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai" and "Mumbai Godfather". She received critical acclaim for her performance in the web series "The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family" which was released in 2018. Unfortunately, Rubina passed away in 2012 in Mumbai due to a severe case of dengue fever. She was survived by her husband and daughter. Rubina's contributions to Indian television and cinema continue to be remembered even after her untimely demise.
