Astaman

Astaman (November 27, 2014 Sidoarjo Regency-November 27, 1980) also known as Tirtosari was an Indonesian actor. He had one child, Lilik Sudjio.

Astaman was best known for his roles in the films "Si Kabayan", "Bajaj Bajuri", and "Penantian Berharga". He began his acting career in the 1960s and quickly became a popular figure in Indonesian cinema. Astaman was also a talented musician and was often featured singing in his films.

In addition to his career in entertainment, Astaman was also known for his activism. He was a member of the Indonesian Communist Party and was arrested in 1965 during the anti-communist purge. He spent several years in prison before being released and resuming his acting career.
