Jahangir Forouhar (November 27, 2014 Iran-November 6, 1997) was an Iranian actor. He had one child, Leila Forouhar.

In addition to his career as an actor, Jahangir Forouhar was also an avid social and political activist in Iran. He was a strong advocate for democracy and human rights, and was involved with various opposition groups during his lifetime. Forouhar was tragically murdered in his home in Tehran in 1997, along with his wife, Parvaneh Eskandari. The murders were believed to have been politically motivated, and sparked widespread outrage and protests in Iran.
