Hossein Panahi

Hossein Panahi (August 28, 1956 Kohgiluyeh County-August 4, 2004 Tehran) was an Iranian actor, poet and author. He had three children, Leila Panahi, Ana Panahi and Sina Panahi.

Hossein Panahi was a notable figure in the Iranian cultural scene, known for his contributions to both theater and film. He graduated from the faculty of dramatic arts at Tehran University in 1980, after which he began performing in theater productions. Panahi starred in several popular Iranian films, including "The Runner" and "The Fish Fall in Love", both of which were featured in international film festivals.

In addition to his acting career, Panahi was also an accomplished poet and writer. He published several poetry collections, including "Sea Sculpture" and "The Echo of Clouds", and also wrote several plays and short stories. His works often explored themes of human emotion and the complexities of life in contemporary Iran.

Tragically, Hossein Panahi passed away in 2004 at the age of 47 due to complications resulting from diabetes. He is remembered for his contributions to the arts and his unique perspective on Iranian society and culture.
