In 1937, he appeared in the original production of "The Plough and the Stars", which was highly controversial at the time due to its depiction of the Easter Rising. Sinclair’s performance as Fluther Good was highly praised by both critics and audiences alike. Today, he is remembered as one of Ireland’s most talented stage actors.
