Cyril Cusack (November 26, 1910 Durban-October 7, 1993 London) otherwise known as Cyril James Cusack was an Irish actor. He had six children, Sinéad Cusack, Catherine Cusack, Sorcha Cusack, Pádraig Cusack, Paul Cusack and Niamh Cusack.

Cyril Cusack began his acting career in Ireland in the 1930s and later moved to London where he continued to work in theater, film, and television. One of his most famous roles was as the Fool in the film version of Shakespeare's "King Lear" in 1983. He also starred in other notable productions such as "Mutiny on the Bounty" (1962) and "Far and Away" (1992). In addition to his acting career, Cusack was involved in politics and was a member of the Communist Party of Great Britain. He was also an advocate for peace and nuclear disarmament.
