Giuditta Rissone began her acting career at a young age on the stage, and later transitioned to film. She appeared in over 70 films throughout her career, working with some of Italy's most famous directors, including Federico Fellini and Vittorio De Sica. She is best remembered for her roles in neorealist films such as "Shoeshine" and "Umberto D." Rissone was also an accomplished theater actress and appeared in numerous productions throughout her career. In addition to her work as an actor, she also worked as a writer and director. Rissone remained an active participant in the Italian film industry until her death in 1977.

She began her acting career in the 1920s, appearing primarily on stage productions in several Italian theaters. She then appeared in a number of Italian films, starting with "Odette" in 1928. Zanoli was best known for her roles in the films of the 1940s, such as "Processo e morte di Socrate" (1941), "Giuseppe Verdi" (1942) and "La vita ricomincia" (1945). She was admired for her versatility as an actress, having acted in comedy, tragedy and melodrama. Zanoli was also known for her work in radio dramas and television productions. In addition to her acting career, she was also an accomplished painter. After her retirement from acting, Zanoli lived a quiet life in Milan, where she passed away in 1977 at the age of 81.
