Howard Phillips (February 6, 1899 Kingston-August 2, 1992 New York City) was a Jamaican actor.

He was best known for his work on stage and in film during the 1930s and 1940s. Phillips began his acting career in London, where he performed in a series of plays before moving to the United States in the 1920s. He found success on Broadway in productions such as "The Emperor Jones" and "Porgy." Phillips went on to appear in several Hollywood films, including "The Little Foxes" and "The Ten Commandments." In addition to his acting work, Phillips was a civil rights activist and worked with the NAACP to fight racial discrimination in the entertainment industry. He continued to act on stage and screen until his death in 1992 at the age of 93.
