He began his career as a singer in the 1930s, performing in nightclubs and on the radio. Tuero quickly became a popular performer and recorded numerous albums throughout his career. Along with his music career, he also acted in over 70 films, starting in 1939 with the film "La Valentina" and continuing until his death in 1971. Tuero also produced several films throughout his career, including "Morena Clara" and "El Cid Cabreador". He was known for his deep baritone voice and his ability to perform a wide range of musical styles, from traditional Mexican ranchera music to boleros and tangos.
