Miroslava was born to a Jewish family in Prague and lived in Czechoslovakia until her family fled to Mexico due to the Nazi occupation in 1939. She acted in more than 20 films, including "Ensayo de un crimen" (The Criminal Life of Archibaldo de la Cruz), which was directed by the famous filmmaker Luis Buñuel. Pina Pellicer began her acting career in 1953 with the Mexican film "El ángel exterminador" (The Exterminating Angel).
