Miroslava (February 26, 1925 Prague-March 9, 1955 Mexico City) a.k.a. Miros, Miroslava Sternova, Miros-mango, Miroslava Šternová or Miroslava Stern was a Mexican actor.
She was born to Czech parents in Prague and later moved with her family to Mexico to escape the Nazi occupation. Miroslava began her acting career in Mexico, starring in several films in the 1950s, including Nosotros los pobres (We the Poor), considered one of the best Mexican films of all time. She was known for her beauty and talent and often played tragic, complex characters.
Despite her success in the film industry, Miroslava suffered from depression and struggled with personal relationships. She tragically took her own life at the age of 30 in Mexico City.
