Howard Morrison (August 18, 1935 Rotorua-September 24, 2009 Rotorua) a.k.a. Sir Howard Leslie Morrison or Sir Howard Leslie Morrison OBE was a New Zealand actor, musician and entertainer. His children are called Donna Morrison, Richard Morrison and Howard Morrison Jnr.
Morrison was a prominent figure in the New Zealand entertainment industry for over four decades. He started his career as a member of the quartet group Howard Morrison Quartet, which achieved fame across the country in the 1960s. The group's hits included the songs "Hoki Mai" and "My Old Man's an All Black".
Aside from his music career, Morrison was also an accomplished actor, having performed in several stage productions, television shows, and films. He played the lead role in the New Zealand productions of "The King and I" and "Man of La Mancha". In 2003, Morrison was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in Film and Television by the New Zealand Screen Awards.
In recognition of his contributions to the arts and his service to the community, Morrison was conferred with numerous honors throughout his life, including the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1988 and a knighthood in 1990. Martyn Sanderson (February 24, 1938 Westport-October 14, 2009 Otaki) was a New Zealand screenwriter, poet and actor.
He is best known for his roles in films such as "The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring" and "Sleeping Dogs". Sanderson was also a prolific writer, having written several plays and screenplays throughout his career. He was a founding member of the Wellington-based theatre company Downstage Theatre and was also involved in the establishment of the New Zealand Film Commission. In addition to his work in film and theatre, Sanderson was also known for his poetry and was awarded the Robert Burns Fellowship in 1975.

Eru Potaka-Dewes (November 27, 2014 Ruatoria-August 7, 2009 Rotorua) was a New Zealand actor.
Born in Ruatoria, Eru Potaka-Dewes began his acting career with small roles in New Zealand film and TV productions. He later gained critical acclaim for his role as Wiremu in the film "Once Were Warriors". In addition to acting, Potaka-Dewes was also a respected Māori leader and environmental activist. He was a spokesperson for the Māori Party and worked tirelessly to preserve and protect Māori culture and the environment. He passed away at the age of 94 in Rotorua.
