He is best known for his work in the Norwegian film and television industry. Krog began his acting career in the late 1970s and appeared in numerous films and television series throughout his career. Some of his most notable roles include his portrayal of "Eilert Loevborg" in the film version of Henrik Ibsen's play "Hedda Gabler" (1993) and his role as "Olav" in the popular Norwegian crime drama series "Varg Veum" (2008).
