Aase Bye
Aase Bye (June 4, 1904 Oslo-July 10, 1991 Oslo) also known as Aase Synnøve Bye was a Norwegian actor.
She began her career on the stage, working in various theater productions throughout Norway. In 1932, she made her debut on film in "Sinners in the Sun". Over the course of her career, Bye appeared in over 50 films, including several notable Norwegian productions such as "Gategutter" (1949) and "Den store barnedåpen" (1951).
In addition to her work in film and theater, Bye also worked as a radio host, and was known for her warm and compassionate persona. She was a beloved figure in Norwegian entertainment, and in 1990 she was awarded the Order of St. Olav for her contributions to Norwegian culture.
Bye continued to act well into her 80s, and passed away in Oslo in 1991 at the age of 87. She is remembered as one of Norway's most iconic and accomplished actors.
