Badi Uzzaman

Badi Uzzaman (March 8, 1939 Phulpur-June 14, 2011 Lahore) also known as Mohammed Badi Uzzaman Azmi, Badi Uzzman, Badi Uzzamann or BadiUzzaman was a Pakistani actor and presenter.

He was known for his work in both Pakistani and British television and film industries. Uzzaman began his acting career in the 1970s with the PTV drama "Sona Chandi", which went on to become a cult hit. He later appeared in a number of popular Pakistani dramas including "Khuda Ki Basti" and "Andhera Ujala".

In the 1980s, Uzzaman moved to the UK and made his mark on British television. He played a variety of roles in popular TV series such as "Doctor Who", "The Bill", and "EastEnders". His film credits include "The Jewel in the Crown" and "A Passage to India".
