He was known for his contributions as a social worker and philanthropist in Pakistan. Mustafa Rahi was born on April 5, 1915 in Pakistan. He started his career as a teacher but later became involved in social work. Rahi set up several charitable organizations to help poverty-stricken communities in Pakistan, including the Rahi Foundation, which aimed to provide healthcare and education to underprivileged citizens. He also initiated a number of programs to empower women in rural areas, such as vocational training and microfinance loans.
