Maria Balcerkiewiczówna (December 21, 1903 Warsaw-February 11, 1975 London) a.k.a. Marja Balcerkiewicz, Maria Balzerkiewicz or Maria von Balcerkiewicz was a Polish actor.
She started her acting career on stage in the 1920s, and later transitioned to film. Balcerkiewiczówna appeared in several movies during the era of silent films and continued to act in films during the World War II-era occupation of Poland. She was a member of the underground theater group Teatr Polski Rapsodyczny, which performed plays and cabarets that were critical of the German occupation. When the war ended, Balcerkiewiczówna moved to England where she continued to act in films and on stage. She appeared in British productions such as "The Hound of the Baskervilles" and later had a recurring role on "The Adventures of Robin Hood" television series. Balcerkiewiczówna was also a writer and published a memoir about her experiences during the war titled "Bullets and Flowers: The Story of a War Correspondent." She died in London in 1975 at the age of 71.
