In addition to his work in film and television, Aleksandr Golubkov is also a stage actor, having performed in a number of theatrical productions in Russia. He studied acting at the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts in Moscow and later went on to pursue a Master's degree in Theater Studies at the University of Oxford.
Golubkov has also served as a jury member for several international film festivals, including the Moscow International Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, he was appointed as an ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme in Russia, working towards promoting the Sustainable Development Goals in the country.
