Mark Bernes (September 8, 1911 Nizhyn-August 16, 1969 Moscow) otherwise known as Mark Naumovič Bernes or Bernes, Mark was a Russian singer and actor.

He was born to a Jewish family in Ukraine and later moved to Moscow to pursue a career in music. He became a popular singer during the Soviet era and performed many patriotic songs during World War II. In addition to his singing career, Bernes was also a talented actor and appeared in several films throughout his career. Bernes passed away at the age of 57 due to a heart attack, but his music and performances continue to be beloved by many in Russia and around the world.
