Larisa Tarkovskaya was born in the Soviet Union and started out as a stage actor before transitioning into film. She is best known for her roles in several Soviet-era films, including "Ivan's Childhood," "Andrei Rublev," and "Mirror," all of which were directed by her husband, the acclaimed Soviet filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky.
