Dolina studied philology at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute and began her literary career in the 1980s. She gained fame for her unique style of poetry that combines elements of rock music with Russian folk traditions. Apart from being a poet, Dolina is also a singer-songwriter and has released several albums throughout her career. She is a recipient of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in Literature and Arts and has been honored with other prestigious awards for her contributions to Russian literature and culture.
