Tsao Chieh (December 27, 1953 Singapore-April 5, 1996 Singapore) was a Singaporean personality.

Tsao Chieh was a well-known TV and radio personality who rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s in Singapore. He started his career as a radio DJ with Rediffusion, and later moved on to Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS), where he hosted various TV shows, including the popular music program "Music 'N' More".

Apart from hosting TV and radio shows, Tsao also acted in several movies and TV dramas in Singapore and Malaysia. His notable roles include the male lead in the 1983 Singaporean film "35th Chamber of Shaolin" and in the 1992 Malaysian drama "Red Lamp".

Tsao was also a singer and released several albums in the 1980s and 1990s, including "Simplicity" and "Happiness".

He passed away at the age of 42 due to a heart attack.
