Vladimír Zimmer (June 26, 1921-January 20, 1990) was a Slovak actor and film director.

He began his acting career in the 1940s and appeared in over 50 films during his lifetime. Zimmer was known for his versatility as an actor, able to play both dramatic and comedic roles with equal skill. He also directed several films, including "Rok Spoznania" (The Year of Recognition) and "Muz na drate" (Man on a Wire), which won the Grand Prix at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 1957. Zimmer was a respected figure in the Slovak film industry and was awarded the title of Merited Artist in 1981. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 68.
