He was best known as the lead singer of the Catalan rock band Sau, which gained immense popularity in the 90s. As a musician, he was appreciated for his soulful voice and his ability to combine rock music with Mediterranean and Latin rhythms. Apart from his work with Sau, he also released solo albums and collaborated with various other artists.
In addition to his music career, Sabater also acted in several films and TV shows. He made his acting debut with the film "Yo, también tengo una bala", and went on to appear in notable films such as "Morirás en Chafarinas" and "El largo invierno".
