She continued to work with Bergman on several other films including "Devil's Eye" and "Persona". Jacobsen also made appearances in Hollywood films such as "Zulu" and "The Defector". In addition to acting, she was also an active feminist and participated in protests against the Vietnam War. Sadly, she passed away at the age of 53 due to complications from cancer.
