Lilli Palmer
Lilli Palmer (May 24, 1914 Poznań-January 27, 1986 Los Angeles) also known as Lillie Marie Peiser, Lilli Marie Peiser, Hermann Lissmann, Lily Palmer, Lillie Marie Periser or Lilli Peiser was a Swiss actor, screenwriter, singer, painter and author. She had one child, Carey Harrison.
Lilli Palmer began her acting career in Germany in the 1930s and then moved to the United Kingdom in 1933 to escape the rise of the Nazi party in her home country. She starred in many successful British and American films throughout the 1940s and 1950s, including "The Four Poster", "The House That Screamed", and "The Boys from Brazil".
In addition to acting, Palmer was also a talented screenwriter, writing the adaptations for several of her films. She also wrote a number of books, including her autobiography "Change Lobsters and Dance" and a memoir about her time in London during World War II called "With High Hopes".
Palmer was married to the English actor Rex Harrison from 1943 to 1956. They acted together in the 1961 film "The Four Poster". After her divorce from Harrison, she married the American actor Carlos Thompson in 1957, and they remained together until her death in 1986.
In addition to her prolific career in film and writing, Palmer was also a skilled painter and had several exhibitions of her artwork. She passed away in Los Angeles in 1986 at the age of 71.

She began her career in Berlin in the 1950s, where she quickly became a popular cabaret performer. Vita is best known for her collaborations with composer Friedrich Hollaender, including her performances in the popular revue "Spree-Revellers". She also appeared in numerous films, including "Against the Wind" and "The Haunted Castle".
In addition to her acting career, Vita was also a successful singer, with hits such as "Ich bin ja heut' so glücklich" and "Ganz Paris träumt von der Liebe". She was also a prolific voice actress, known for her dubbing work in films such as "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "The Addams Family".
Despite her success, Vita's life was not without hardship. She was sent to a concentration camp during World War II due to her Jewish heritage, and later struggled with alcoholism. Nevertheless, she remained a beloved figure in German entertainment until her death in 2001.
