Despite his short stint in the entertainment industry, Vilard Normcharoen was a prominent figure in Thailand's LGBTQ+ community. He was well-known for his makeup tutorials and his drag performances under the name Mama Vilard. He also hosted a radio show and was a judge on a popular reality show called "Drag Race Thailand". Vilard was an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and often used his platform to raise awareness about discrimination and inequality faced by the community in Thailand. His death was mourned by many in the Thai entertainment industry and LGBTQ+ community.

He died as a result of cancer.
