Malikyan is a well-respected actor in the entertainment industry and is known for his versatility and range as an actor.
Malikyan has not only appeared in Western films and TV shows, but also in Turkish cinema and television. Some of his notable Turkish roles include his portrayal of Mehmet in "Kurtlar Vadisi," a popular television series, and his role as Archbishop Balayan in the Turkish film "Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem." Alongside his acting career, Malikyan is also dedicated to education and the arts. He helped establish the Istanbul Theatre Festival and has served as a trustee of the Armenian Institute in London.
