Tarık Akan (December 13, 1949 Istanbul-) also known as Damat Ferit, Tarik Üregül or Tarik Akan is a Turkish actor. He has three children, Barış Zeki Üregül, Yaşar Özgür Üregül and Özlem Üregül.

Tarık Akan began his acting career in 1970 and quickly rose to fame with his performances in Turkish cinema. He starred in more than 120 films and played a variety of characters ranging from heroes to villains. He was particularly known for his roles in social dramas that dealt with political and social issues in Turkey. In addition to acting, Tarık Akan was also a writer and director, and has directed several films.

Outside of his acting career, Tarık Akan was an outspoken advocate for social justice and democracy in Turkey. Arman then worked as a professional actor in various theaters before starting his career on television and in film. He is best known for his roles in popular Turkish TV series such as "Gurbet Kadını," "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu," and "Aşk-ı Memnu." In addition to acting, he has also worked as a voice actor and dubbed foreign films and TV series into Turkish. Arman has won several awards for his contributions to Turkish cinema and theater, including the Golden Orange for Best Supporting Actor in 1989.
