Feridun Çölgeçen

Feridun Çölgeçen (May 10, 1911 Istanbul-January 19, 1978 Istanbul) also known as Feridun Cölgecen, Feridun Cölgeçen, Feridun Ç. Geçen, Ferudun Çölgeçen, Feridun Colgecen, Feridun Cölcegen or Ferdiun Cölgecen was a Turkish actor.

He was born in Istanbul and started his acting career in the Turkish film industry in the 1950s. He appeared in over 200 films and became one of the most well-known actors of his time in Turkey. Some of his most famous roles include "Baba", "Battal Gazi", and "Karaoğlan". In addition to acting, Çölgeçen was also a writer and director, and worked on several films throughout his career. He was awarded the Golden Orange Lifetime Achievement Award in 1976 for his contributions to Turkish cinema. Çölgeçen passed away in Istanbul in 1978 at the age of 67.
