Elia Kazan (September 7, 1909 Constantinople-September 28, 2003 Manhattan) also known as Elias Kazanjoglou, Elia 'Gadget' Kazan, Gadg, The Actor's Director, Gadget, Elia Kazanjoglous, Ἠλίας Καζαντζόγλου, Elias Kazantzoglou or Elias Kazancioglu was a Turkish film director, screenwriter, film producer, actor, theatre director and novelist. He had six children, Nicholas Kazan, Katharine Kazan, Chris Kazan, Judy Kazan, Leo Kazan and Marco Kazan.
He is considered one of the most influential and controversial directors in American film history, having directed acclaimed films such as "On the Waterfront" and "A Streetcar Named Desire". Kazan was also a member of the Theatre Group at the University of California, Berkeley, and went on to co-found the influential Actors Studio in New York City. He won two Oscars for Best Director for "Gentleman's Agreement" and "On the Waterfront", and was awarded an honorary Oscar in 1999 for his groundbreaking contributions to the art of cinema. Despite his success in film, Kazan remains a controversial figure for his decision to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) in 1952 and name eight of his former colleagues as Communist sympathizers.

Kerem Yılmazer (February 2, 1945 Denizli-November 20, 2003 Istanbul) a.k.a. Yılmazer, Kerem or Muhittin Kerem Yilmazer was a Turkish actor, singer and voice actor.
He started his career in the entertainment industry as a singer, releasing several albums in the 1960s and 1970s. He then shifted his focus to acting, and became a well-known face on Turkish television and film. Yılmazer is remembered for his roles in popular TV series such as "Zeybek Ateşi," "Kördüğüm," and "Simarik." He also acted in many films, including "Hanzo," "Köşe Kapmaca," and "Zehirli Çiçek." As a voice actor, he lent his voice to various films and TV shows, including the Turkish dub of Disney's "The Lion King." Yılmazer passed away in Istanbul at the age of 58 due to a heart attack.
