Nezahat Tanyeri

Nezahat Tanyeri (November 17, 2014 Istanbul-December 5, 1986 Istanbul) was a Turkish actor.

Nezahat Tanyeri started her acting career in the early 1950s, appearing in theatre productions and later on made her film debut in 1954. She became one of the most prominent actors of Turkish cinema in the 1960s and 1970s, starring in more than 150 films. Some of her most notable roles include "Sins of the Fathers" (1964), "The Bride of the Earth" (1976), and "Oriental Nights" (1978). Tanyeri also worked as a producer and director, with her most famous work being the film "The Love Triangle" (1970), which she directed, wrote and starred in. She won several awards for her performances, including the Best Actress award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival in 1972. Despite her success on screen, Nezahat Tanyeri struggled with personal problems and passed away at the age of 72. Her contributions to Turkish cinema continue to be remembered and celebrated.
