She was born in Caracas and began her career in the arts at a young age, studying drama in Paris and later returning to Venezuela to perform in various theater productions. Acosta is considered to be one of the pioneers of Venezuelan theater, having acted in dozens of plays and helping to establish the Venezuelan National Theater Company. She also appeared in a number of films, including "El Padre de la Criatura" and "Joaquina". Throughout her career, Acosta was widely respected for her skilled acting, and was awarded numerous honors for her contributions to Venezuelan theater and film.
